Abstract: Irreducible bounded symmetric domains were clasified by E.Cartan. They play important part in geometry, function theory, and harmonic analysis. In a joint work with S. Sinel'shchikov (preprint math.QA/9703145), q-analogues of some function algebras in such domains were constructed. We will discuss some results for the simplest class of these quantum homogeneous spaces.
