| Induced representations and non-abelian localization in equivariant K-theory |
|
Abstract: A fundamental theorem in equivariant K-theory is the localization theorem for actions of diagonalizable groups. In this talk I will explain how this theorem can be extended to actions of non-abelian groups using a K-theory analogue of induced representations. This talk is based on joint work with W. Graham. |
