| Combinatorial cycles on the moduli space of Riemann surfaces |
|
Abstract: There are several ways to define homology/algebraic cycles on the moduli space of Riemann surfaces. A particularly curious one is using the cellular decomposition given by ribbon graphs. Cycles of this type were first introduced by Witten-Kontsevich-Penner and then generalized by Kontsevich. I will discuss a few results and some open problems in the area. |
