Abstract: I will survey recent work by Andras Nemethi and myself on the geometric signifcance of the Seiberg-Witten invariants of links of certain isolated surface singularities.

Here are some directions to Northeastern University. Lake Hall can be best accessed from the entrance on the corner of Greenleaf Street and Leon Street.
