Abstract: I will discuss the recent paper of Ottaviani and Rubei on a new method of calculation of cohomology of homogeneous vector bundles using some quivers with relations. I will concentrate on possible applications to calculating syzygies of coordinate rings of Grassmannians and of Veronese embeddings.
