Talk at 3:00 p.m. in 425 Shillman Lake Hall

Abstract:   A d-dimensional simplex is an elementary and familiar geometric object. For example, it is a triangle if d = 2, and a tetrahedron if d = 3. In this talk, we demonstrate a few ways of generalizing a simplex, and examine why such generalizations are of interest.

Here are some directions to Northeastern University. Shillman Hall can be best accessed from the entrance on Forsythe St. facing Ruggles T station.
