Talk at 12:15 PM in 511 Lake

Abstract:   Given a Stein domain with boundary, one can obtain links in the three-manifold from the transverse intersection of a complex curve with the boundary. These form a very natural class of links which are connected to a variety of fields. I will discuss some recent developments.

Here are some directions to Northeastern University. Lake Hall can be best accessed from the entrance on the corner of Greenleaf Street and Leon Street.
