Abstract:   I will present joint work with Anders Buch and Andrew Kresch which shows that the three-point, genus zero Gromov-Witten invariants on Grassmannians are equal (or related) to classical triple intersection numbers on other homogeneous spaces. Our approach uses only basic algebraic geometry and works for any G/P, where G is a classical Lie group and P any maximal parabolic subgroup.
