The Department of Mathematics is offering a new Master's of Science in Applied Mathematics program. The program is especially designed to appeal to working professionals who are interested in the applications of mathematics.
Admission Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc)
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- GRE exams (SGRE is not required)
- Resume, personal statement, and three letters of recommendation
Degree Requirements: 8 courses (32 semester hours) - Three Required Courses (12 semester hours)
- Five Electives (20 semester hours)
- At least three of these must be taken from the graduate courses offered by the Mathematics Department.
- Up to two of these may be graduate courses taken outside of the Mathematics Department (with the approval of the program advisor in the Math Dept)
