Math Tools and Explorations

Scattered around the internet there are many sites which provide you with useful tools or ways of exploring some of the ideas in your courses. We've collected some of them on this page and will add to the collection as time goes by. Please let us know what you found useful.

The Integrator:

The Integrator acts like an intelligent set of integral tables. Feed it any function of one or more variables (as long as one of them is x) and it will try to find an antiderivative with respect to x. You can use it to check your integration directly. You can also use it to check your differentiation--just feed it the derivative, and see if you get back the original function.
