Mathematics Tutoring Services

There are several channels of tutoring support available to students in our mathematics classes.

Math tutoring on an individual basis is provided in algebra, precalculus, or calculus. Students can sign up in 540B Nightingale Hall for a half-hour or hour long appointment, with the tutor of their choice and for a time that fits their schedule. This is a free service for Northeastern students.

Math Tutoring for Spring 2013 will be in 540B Nightingale:

 I am very pleased to tell you that we have some excellent tutors this semester, including several TAs and math majors who are seniors.

We will open for the full hours on the January 22nd, at which time students can drop by or sign up on http://neumath.mywconline.com

Computer (Excel) Lab, 553 Lake Hall (LA). Phone: 617-373-5663

The Excel computer laboratory is located in the midst of the Mathematics Department, in 553 Lake Hall. The Excel lab is staffed by student mentors who will help students with hardware, software, and mathematics problems. There is no charge for students using the lab.
