Course Description

This course is a continuation of MTH 3002 and might have some overlaps with it.  We discuss more advanced topics in linear algebra: normal forms of linear maps; structure of bilinear forms; symmetric, Hermitian and unitary operators; multi-linear algebra; the symmetric, exterior and tensor algebras. We also provide further introduction to group theory.
