Industrial Mathematics

1:00-2:00 pm Wednesdays in 509 Lake Hall

This seminar deals with problems from science, engineering, or industry that can be solved using mathemtics. Formal talks are occasionally scheduled (see below), otherwise we meet informally as

The Lunch Pail Group

Come if you have a problem to pose; come if you want to lend your mathematical expertise to discuss some else's problem; or come just to listen to the ideas fly.

The current organizer of the seminar is Robert McOwen. And if you don't know how to find the Mathematics Department at Northeastern University, we can provide you with directions.
