The purpose of this forum is to present issues that concern us as professional
educators. These include ideas for effective pedagogy and uses of technology
that can advance educational goals. The current organizer of this forum is

This quarter the EdTech Center is working with the Math Dept to integrate
technology in the mathematical education that we provide for the university.
This event in the EdTech Center provides an opportunity for a discussion of
instructional goals and student needs, and the new media tools available
in the Edtech Center that can help meet them in various ways. Examples
of using technology and multimedia for teaching math (at other institutions and at NU)
will also be presented, as well as a discussion of what has worked and what problems
have been encountered.
