| On the Topology of Complex Polynomial Functions |

Abstract: First I will review briefly the few general known facts on the topology of the fibers of a complex polynomial in n variables.
Then I will discuss in detail the state of the art in the case n = 2 and, time permitting, the D-module view point on the subject. |
